Senior Portrait Day

Dear Senior,
Your senior portraits represent one of the best values available through your school. Carolina Photography is pleased to advise you that we contribute to your school’s fundraising activities through photographic services and financial support for your yearbook.
Our team of photographers will be at your school to photograph your senior portraits. There is a participation fee (includes NC sales tax) that can be collected before or on the photography date. Please pay by cash, check, money order or credit card, made payable to Carolina Photography on photography day or by Credit Card online. This fee is required to receive extra poses and proofs to order from.

Carolina Photography will mail each senior an appointment time for their portrait session. The schedule provided will include date, time and location. In addition to the schedule, each student will digitally receive information that provides suggestions on how to make their portraits personal to his/her individual style.

Senior portrait proofs will be mailed to each student’s home after paying their sitting fee.

For our classic yearbook pose the gentlemen will wear a tuxedo and the ladies will wear a black drape; both of which are provided by Carolina Photography. TIP: GIRLS should bring a camisole for under their formal drapes. BOYS should bring a t-shirt for under their tux.

Online ordering is available. This requires a "shoot key" that will be delivered mail with your proofs (optional) or delivered by email.

PLEASE NOTE:
There is no charge to have your portrait made for the yearbook. To receive proofs in which to order photos, there is a sitting fee that includes extra poses at the tux & drape camera and portraits in your favorite clothes.
Senior Sitting Includes a Variety of Backgrounds.

10-12 portrait proofs. The proofs will be mailed to your home approximately two week following your appointment. An additional set of proofs may be purchased for $20 per set. This cost also applies to replacing proofs that are lost during the school year.

If paying the sitting fee - 4 - 5 images will be provided at this camera.

If you only need your Yearbook Image - No fee for this service. An image will be provided to your school for yearbook purposes. Proofs will not be mailed home.

Cap and Gown Portraits (if applicable)

If requested by your school, we will photograph you in your senior Cap and Gown. Carolina Photography will provide appropriate cap and gown attire for your school.

The cap and gown portraits can be taken during the summer session with the traditional senior portraits or when the senior class group is taken later in the year.

Cap and gown proofs will be mailed to each student’s home in mid-February.

Your school will receive a commission from cap and gown portrait sales.

Dressy and Casual Portraits
You may choose to have these poses in a close-up, ¾ length, or full length. To capture your personal style, feel free to bring props and accessories.

Express Yourself!

To express your interests, consider bringing a letter jacket, class ring, sports equipment or musical instrument, making your portraits personal.

Bring matching shoes and accessories to complete your outfits.

Iron wrinkled clothing prior to your session.

Remember to check all of your details, manicures, facial hair and accessories such as earrings, necklaces, belts, ties, shoes, and class rings.
Be creative and have fun!
Please note, ONLY Carolina Photography portraits may be accepted in the yearbook. To insure you have a yearbook image, you must be photographed at the tux and drape camera.
If you are unable to attend the initial picture date, an absentee day will be scheduled with your school and the absentee date will be announced when school resumes in the fall.
